Petrorio Drilling Tools manufactures Pneumatic Power Slips, equivalent to the Varco PS 16, built for efficiency, durability, and operator safety. Pneumatic Power Slips are fully automatic, remote-controlled air-operated slips that handle tubulars from 3.1/2” to 5.1/2” with a simple interchange of inserts.
The Pneumatic Power Slips, PS 16, can be operated by either a hand or foot remote control valve. Pneumatic Power Slips are set by a combination of gravity and applied air pressure, and released solely by applied air pressure, eliminating manual lifting and reducing rig-floor strain.
Designed for use with 27.1/2″ and 37.1/2″ rotary tables fitted with API Pin Drive Master Bushings, Petrorio Pneumatic Power Slips deliver seamless integration, safe handling, and long-lasting reliability in demanding drilling environments.
