Load Cells

Petrorio Drilling Tools offers two types of Load Cells: Tension-Type and Compression-Type, designed to ensure precision, safety, and durability in drilling operations.

Tension-Type Load Cells

These load cells are used with Manual Tongs for both makeup and break-up operations. Each unit features a digital indicator that accurately displays the torque applied during the handling of pipe, tubing, casing joints, and drill collars. By providing real-time torque readings in foot-pounds, operators can safely monitor applied torque, minimizing the risk of equipment damage and operational accidents.

Compression-Type Load Cells

Heavy-duty compression load cells are available in multiple capacities and are engineered for long-term reliability when properly calibrated and maintained as per OEM guidelines.

• Drill Pipe Slip Load Cells: 100T, 150T, and 250T capacities
• Master Bushing Load Cells: 500T capacity
