Petrorio Drilling Tools specializes in the manufacture of Spring Loaded Power Slips, offering an equivalent model to the Varco PS 15. Spring Loaded Power Slips are precision-built to handle tubulars ranging from 3.1/2” to 5.1/2”, with adaptability provided through interchangeable inserts for versatile operations.

Designed for ease of use, the PS 15 allows slip setting with a simple application of foot pressure on its pedal, eliminating the manual effort typically required for setting and lifting slips. Each unit consists of four slip segments fitted with inserts for secure gripping, supported by four coil spring cartridges that counterbalance the weight of the slips during release. This design improves operational efficiency while ensuring the safety of rig personnel.

The Spring Loaded Power Slip is compatible with rotary tables featuring 27.1/2” and 37.1/2” API Pin Drive Master Bushings and is manufactured in strict compliance with API standards. Built for demanding drilling conditions, these slips deliver reliable performance, durability, and enhanced productivity, making them an essential tool for modern drilling operations.
