Petrorio Drilling Tools manufactures the Pneumatic Tubing Spider (Model C), built to handle tubulars ranging from 1.315” to 5.1/2” with a capacity of 100 tons. Operated pneumatically via a foot pedal, it enhances operator safety and efficiency during tripping operations on the rig floor.
Built from high-grade alloy steel and heat-treated for durability, the Model C features hardened alloy shafts, replaceable bushings, and grease fittings, ensuring long service life and smooth performance. Air cylinders and foot valves are mist-lubricated through the airstream, providing reliable operation even under demanding drilling conditions.
The spider includes a manual safety latch to lock slips in place, preventing accidental release. With protective guards and compatibility with rotary tables using adapter plates, it allows manual rotation and versatile use.
